Monthly Concerts - August 2008

OK... it's been a few days since my last post but I've been working on aesthetics and the DNS routing configurations of our new blog address - itcouldbemainstream.com. Although you can still enter the blog using itcouldbemainstream.blogspot.com, we're just trying to simplify things for you.

Luke Doucet

My first thoughts of Blood's too Rich - "Walk Hard" from the comedy, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. This song is from Doucet's seventh album, "Blood's Too Rich". Doucet is husband to White Falcon band member Melissa McClelland and label/tour mate to Justin Rutledge. Luke Doucet is definitely one of the best Alt-Country artists I've heard this year! The easy listening, western sound definitely catches the ear's attention!

Cory Woodward

Cory Woodward has that simplistic sound, similar to the likes of Bruce Sprinsteen. From the minute I heard "Revolve", I was definitely hooked! Cory arrived on the Vancouver music scene three years ago and the Edmonton born singer-songwriter has been swiftly gaining attention and praise from audiences throughout the city (and beyond), according to Podsafe Music Network.

The Start of Something Beautiful

This music blog has been a project in the making for the last six months. Not until now have I been able to devote some time and energy to my little side project. This blog is meant entirely for my friends and family to enjoy and hopefully I can bring some new sound to their lives! Please be so considerate to leave a comment and let me know your thoughts (good and bad).
